This year we'll be recognizing the women running for local elected office in the greater Sacramento area.  Join us for networking, wine, and an opportunity to learn about and sample quality chocolate. The Summer Reception is a fundraiser for our women's leadership programs.  Don't miss it!

Giving Back to Your Community - Appointments Training

The Sacramento Regional Chapter of California Women Lead invites you to a workshop to learn how to apply for and get appointed to boards and commissions. This FREE workshop guide you through the appointments process by:

1. Making you aware of the board and commission openings in your area;

2. Helping you assess your strengths through a Personal Inventory worksheet;

3. Guiding you through the application process;

4. Helping you learn about the State appointments process.

We hope you will encourage your friends, staff, and colleagues to attend with you.

Speakers for the event include: Elk Grove City Councilwoman Sophia Scherman, Elk Grove Mayor Gary Davis.

There is no cost to attend but your RSVP is appreciated!
