The East Bay Chapter of California Women Lead (formerly CEWAER) invites you to a workshop to learn how to apply for and get appointed to boards and commissions. This FREE workshop will guide you through the appointments process by:
1. Making you aware of the board and commission openings in your area;
2. Helping you assess your strengths through a Personal Inventory worksheet;
3. Guiding you through the application process;
4. Helping you learn about the State appointments process.
We hope you will attend and encourage your friends, staff, co-workers, colleagues, and others to attend.

The East Bay Chapter of CEWAER held a FREE appointments training on March 22nd. Attendees learned why it's important to become civically involved and how to get a political appointment at the local and state level.

East Bay Chapter of CEWAER held a very special reception
September 27 honoring women from the Alameda and Contra Costa
counties region who are running for state or local
office. Co-hosts were Sen. Liz Figueroa and former
Assemblywoman Lynne Leach.
Cost $20 CEWAER members; $25 non-members. Female candidates were our honored guests (no
charge).
